Legends Refuse to be Fashion Victims
Boys Basketball Team beats Fashion HS 75-30.
The Legends used defensive pressure and offensive contributions from everyone to shut down Fashion. Reggie, Jose, Creighton, Kareem, and Alberto took turns frustrating the Fashion guards and never let them get in a rhythm. Cecil and Creighton controlled the boards, and Chayan grabbed some nice rebounds when Kirk got in foul trouble early.
The scoring was led by Cecil and Gerald, but nearly everyone chipped in, as 11 of the Legends scored in the game. To see a complete boxscore for the game, click here.
The win puts Landmark in a tie for first place in the Manhattan III-B division. They will be fighting to hold on that position this week, as they have 4 games in the next 7 days. MVA is next on Friday, followed by Marta Valle on Saturday. For a complete schedule and league standings, click here..
